1. Eligibility and Account Security

To use Freeference, you must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. Any activity occurring under your account is your sole responsibility.

2. Permitted Use and Restrictions

Freeference provides a unified interface for multiple AI model providers. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

  • No Abuse: You may not engage in activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service.
  • Compliance: You must comply with the usage policies of the underlying model providers (e.g., OpenAI, Cohere, Hugging Face) as passed through our Service.
  • Reverse Engineering: You shall not attempt to reverse engineer or extract the source code of the Service.

3. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service (excluding content provided by users) are and will remain the exclusive property of Freeference and its licensors.

4. Content and AI Outputs

Freeference does not claim ownership of the prompts you submit or the completions generated by the models. However, you acknowledge that AI-generated content may be inaccurate or biased. Freeference is not liable for any content generated through the Service.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FREEFERENCE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Freeference operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
